As an alternative to paid hosting panels like cPanel and DirectAdmin, CyberPanel is perfect if you’re looking to manage 5-10 websites on your server with only your access. In this article, we’ll explain how to install CyberPanel without any Linux or coding knowledge.
If you haven’t signed up for services like DigitalOcean or İlkbyte in Turkey, you can click here to register for free. Why İlkbyte? Because it offers free backups in the datacenter (recovery is charged in emergencies) and includes three free snapshots (which are typically paid features with other providers). Snapshots can be lifesavers, and this feature is entirely free. However, keep your snapshots updated as old ones can slow down your server, a point we’ll cover later.

Then, from the packages menu, select the Cloud server package to view the monthly server prices. As seen in the screenshot below, renting a server from İlkbyte is more affordable than seemingly cheaper companies like DigitalOcean, Contabo, or Hetzner. For example, İlkbyte servers are sold at $4.49 per month, while other companies offer low CPU and RAM at $4. When you want to upgrade, İlkbyte servers remain at $4, while costs for other companies can rise to $8-9 or even $12. You can test this yourself if you don’t believe it. 🙂

Click the CREATE button in the screenshot above to proceed to the server creation stage. In the screenshot below, there are three types of servers:
Cloud Server: Ideal for your websites. In the lowest package (Cloud 1), I achieved maximum efficiency for up to 10 sites. Due to the good features, I moved to the second package.
Storage Server: If you don’t need speed for your site or work but need much more space, you can opt for storage servers. You might get low scores in Google LCP – INP – CLS, so I recommend using cloud or enterprise packages for websites.
Enterprise Server: A server type that can be used for all purposes.

After selecting the type of server you want, click the Create button and then click on the Ready Applications tab on the Configure Your Server page.

From the page that opens, select version 2.1.2 of Cyberpanel. In this area, you can see many ready packages such as cPanel (paid), OwnCloud (file sharing server), or OpenVPN (your own VPN server). I will prepare guides for the installation of other applications. Since our current topic is the free web hosting panel Cyberpanel, select Cyberpanel 2.1.2 and continue.

In the screenshot above, you have the option to automatically generate an SSH key and send it to your email address. However, since we want to continue with a username and password, enter “advisorroute” as the root user and set your password. In the “Name your server” section, you can give any name you like; this will be useful if you have multiple servers. The “Auto-renew active” checkbox will renew your server if you have a credit card entered or sufficient balance in your account. Otherwise, your server will be suspended until it is renewed (it will not be deleted immediately).
Click the “Create Server” button to create your server.
And ta-da! Our server is ready.
Now, our server with CyberPanel installed is up and running.
